About Our Founder

Tamara Mayne, the founder of Brooklyn Candle Studio, is a fragrance enthusiast and designer who launched the company in 2013. She spends her days working on creative, marketing, and product development, shooting campaigns, chasing her young son, and pursuing her artistic passions, which currently include woodworking and painting.

Our Palo Santo Reed Diffuser is the result of months of collaboration with perfumers, meticulously recreating the deep, woody richness of the sacred Palo Santo ("holy wood") tree native to Peru, Ecuador, and Central/South America. This diffuser features a fruity, floral, and woodsy scent that will last 4-5 months, filling your space with a delightful botanical aroma.
